Fairytales and RomComs have distorted our view of love and acts of love from childhood until now. I'm a hopeless romantic and I know I can feel bored of love when it is not affirmed for me in ways I need it to be. I'm glad that over time, and through many lovers, I've experienced both quiet and grand acts of love to relish in.
